Profile again nominated best retail chain in 2007!

Yesterday, during the Annual Retail Prize awards, the nominees were announced for the public award for ‘Best retail chain in the Netherlands’. Profile ‘de Fietsspecialist’ was again nominated for the title, and is also in the top 3 of the ‘Bicycle a & Leisure’ category. The other 2 nominees in this category are ANWB and Halfords. Today, the follow-up research started on the website www.bestewinkelketen.nl. Consumers can indicate their preference and give the reason they voted for a particular chain. On Monday 19 November, the results of the voting will be announced in Amersfoort, the Netherlands by research bureau Q&A in cooperation with Elsevier.
Big-name chains of the likes of Hema, IKEA and Bruna participate in these awards. Dutch consumers can nominate chains from various branches and assess them according to all kinds of criteria. Last year, IKEA was the winner of the title ‘Best retail chain’.
In 2005 and 2006, Profile ‘de Fietsspecialist’ won the title ‘Best retail chain’ in the category ‘Bicycle and leisure’.
